Quicktext today announces its rebrand to Quinta, The Quintessence of Data, marking a strategic shift from standalone AI solutions to a unified platform for structured hospitality data, designed for the age of artificial intelligence.

This evolution reflects a fundamental change in hospitality. As generative and agentic AI reshape search, booking, and guest interactions, structured, reliable, and continuously updated data has become the industry’s most critical asset.

Quinta is the only platform designed to collect, update, process, and distribute hotel data (Q-Data) for the AI world, ensuring hotels are visible, trusted, and chosen where decisions and bookings happen.

Alongside the rebrand, Quinta launches two core solutions:

  • Q-Channel, which distributes and synchronizes hotel data across OTAs, GDS, metasearch platforms, and AI-driven environments such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity.
  • Q-Share, an API enabling hotels to share verified, structured data across their own digital ecosystem, including websites, apps, and schema.org.

Together, these solutions form the backbone of Quinta’s data ecosystem, ensuring hotel information remains consistent, accurate, and actionable across every digital touchpoint.

Quinta is more than a new name. It is a clear statement: in the age of AI, the future belongs to those who control and structure their data,” said Daniel Doppler, President of Quinta. “By turning hotel data into a reliable source of intelligence, Quinta empowers hotels to stay visible, relevant, and competitive in AI-driven travel.”

FAQ

01 Why did Quicktext become Quinta?

Quicktext was known for having the best conversational AI in hospitality with Velma. But the technology has gone far beyond simple chat: structuring, updating and distributing hotel data, MCP protocol, multi-agent connectivity.

The name Quinta reflects this evolution toward a complete hotel data platform, built for the era of AI agents like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity.

02 What is Quinta’s core mission?

Quinta structures, governs and distributes hotel data to make it usable by AI. Each hotel has over 3,700 verified data points covering amenities, services, policies and experiences.

The goal: to become the global standard for structured hotel data, so that every hotel is accurately understood and recommended by AI agents.

03 What changes for hotels with Quinta?

Hotels gain access to a complete suite:

  • Velma for direct conversion
  • Q-Data for data structuring
  • Q-Channel and Q-MCP for AI distribution
  • Q-SEO for online visibility

The result: the hotel exists with reliable data everywhere a traveler searches, whether on Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude or a voice assistant.

04 Why has structured data become critical in hospitality?

AI agents don’t read websites the way humans do. They need structured, standardized and up-to-date data to recommend a property.

Without this data layer, a hotel becomes invisible to LLMs and AI agents. Quinta fills this gap by transforming raw hotel information into data that any AI can use.
