MedPlaya Hotels has always been a leader in innovation, investing in pioneering projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve energy efficiency, and decrease reliance on fossil fuels. Throughout its journey, MedPlaya has utilized an AI-powered cancellation prediction tool, and more recently. Additionally, it has incorporated ObeHotel, its own booking engine and channel manager, thus optimizing the direct booking experience. 

This time their investment is geared towards AI to :

  • Increase direct bookings with timely and reliable answers to customers inquiries
  • Integrate CRM for a unified booking flow.

Launching AI in 17 Hotels in 3 Weeks: How Did Quinta Do It?

With experience deploying AI solutions across more than 1,900 hotels globally, the Quinta team has established a robust, scalable process, allowing rapid and reliable implementation. 

The onboarding took place over a three week period with fluidity and intensity. From the first meeting, the objectives and deadlines were clearly defined. During the first week, an initial configuration of the generic database, grouping together the information common to the 17 hotels, was deployed by Quinta and validated by Medplaya.

The following two weeks were devoted to the integration of the specific content for each hotel into the database. At the same time, the necessary technical integrations – booking engine, scripts and booking tracking system – were set up by the Medplaya teams. To close this process, the Quinta quality department carried out a complete review of all the data.

In summary, thanks to the use of the Q-Data database, careful organization and the commitment of the support teams and also technical and quality teams at Quinta and all MedPlaya stakeholders, the challenge of delivering the 17 hotels in three weeks was met.
